Career

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1987.

Joined the firm of Albuquerque & Associados in 1987.

Currently Head of the Commercial, Corporate and M&A Department, working in international and domestic law practice, focusing mainly on Corporate Law and International Contracts, with a special emphasis on mergers and acquisitions.

Specialized in acquisitions by Portuguese companies at domestic and international level and in the negotiation and signing of joint-venture agreements and other international strategic alliances.

Has extensive experience practicing mainly in the Telecommunications and IT sectors, intensively involved in investment processes and operations, including the negotiation of foreign investment agreements and privatizations of public sector companies and assets.

Regular speaker at various conferences in his specialist field, in Portugal and abroad.
