In Portugal, Law 23/2018, of 5 June, establishes the rules regarding claims for compensation for infringements of competition law, transposing into the Portuguese legal framework the EU Directive 2014/104, of 26 November, on certain rules governing actions for damages under national law for infringements of the competition law provisions of the Member States and of the European Union, as well as rules on other claims based on infringements of competition law.
